Default Ground Control w/ Tokico Illumina

Hey people,
How low could you drop the car to be on the safe side from blowing the shocks? Plus how would you be able to test if the shocks is blown? Also I don't have the adjuster to adjust the damper. What tools would I need to adjust the damper and to know what level it is on? Thanks for any helps given.

You can order the little adjusters for cheap if you call tokico. Im not sure but maybe Ill be able to look at the notch on mine tomorrow and give you an idea of where the 5 settings point to at the top.

If you go much more than a 2" drop you will hit the bumpstops on large bumps, and if you cut them you will bottom out the shock (not good!)

Get some extended upper strut mounts (ground-control-store) and then you can go down another inch without worrying, but then you will be dumped and thats not a good idea.

Try 1.5" and see how you like it.

If the shock is blown the ride will be very bouncy, could make noises, or be jammed up and ver stiff. If it feels ok you are probably fine. Set those bad boys at 3/5 or higher or they will feel much too soft. I run 3F, 4R or sometimes 4 on both... thats the way it feels the best to me.
