about dyno?
im just curious, i have a 2001 prelude right and it has 200hp and when i see u guys dyno it with some mods its only 170 something something hp?i dont get it?can u explain this 4 me?
Thats 200hp to the flywheel, there is about a 15% loss throughout the drivetrain. You having 170 with only a few bolt on mods is pretty good. Does it really matter how much HP you have, as long as your fast as hell right. I wouldnt care if I only had 90hp, as long as I am still running 15's.
the 200HP is what car makers advertised and as Toretto said that is 200 HP to the flywheel.
But of course most dynos will measure HP from the wheels and again like Toretto said the reason the flywheel has 200 and the wheels only have 170 HP is because of "drivetrain loss"
