HELP: removing door handles from 98 4dr civic
can someone tell me how to remove the outside door handles from a 98 4dr civic?? im getting a paint job on the side skirts, mouldings, and door handles to match the paint of my car. i took all others out except the darn outside door handles. can someone tell me how to take out the back door ones mostly?? because i cant even reach hardly any of the screws inside because there are alot of things in the way. thanks
by the way..i needa know asap if anyone can gimme a quick tutorial because i gota bring in my car to the body shop 2morrow morning to get it back the next day and 2morrow is my last day off of the week

start by removing the inner skin of the door. look for screws but it might just snap off, you might have to pull back the weather plastic and try to get to it from there. if you are this far I dont know what to tell you.

yes i allready took the freakin plastic off with all the damn paste aka GUM that got all over my shirt and pants cause it was pissin me off. but now i cant even reach the polygonal screws in the back door handles and there all attached to something soo i dont kno what im supposed to take out after i pull off the two the polygonal screws. this is soo stressin trying to take out the door handles
each door handle is bolted on with 2 bolts and has a rod attached to it to open the door. For the fronts you have to disconnect the rod from the lock cylinder, and remove the cylinders by removing a C-clip.
