92 Armrest/Glove box question

92 Armrest/Glove box question
Ok, I just recieved my JDM Alpine/Gathers 6-disc stereo for my 92 Si, and I was wondering...
It's the kind with the box that goes all the way back between the seats, and the problem is this one has black fabric, whereas my prelude's interior is grey. If I open the box underneath the lid there's some screws, would taking these out allow me to swap the grey top from mine onto this one?
I'd rather not have a big black piece that stands out among the faded grey, and don't want to to go the hassle of dying my car's interior black

On the Plus though, now I have M4D TyT3 JDM 6-disc Gathers stereo, yo
I just hope it works when I wire it up
