Greddy Oil Presure Gauge Help...

Greddy Oil Presure Gauge Help...
the plugs on the gauge melted after it touched my downpipe...i changed the plug and now it shows 10 kg/cm which is way off from how it was...it was 6 kg/cm before. i double checked the wires and it is exactly like the old one...any help?
