Default M/T Street Radials

Anybody running these on a Civic? If so, any pics and rim/tire combo? Thanks.

I ran the 275/50/15 on a 15x7 rim. They hooked pretty good. (1.7 60ft at the track). I did have to cut my fenders to fit them and they stick out but if you want traction that is what you do. This was on my 95 civic.

Dang, that sucker looks HUGE

have you tried the 225-50-15 BFGs yet? If so, how do they compare so far?

EDIT. I checked online and most of the 235-60-15 tires measures out to 26" tall. Have you measured yours yet? Also that looks lose as heck to the fenders. Any problems turning?

Any pics of that 275 on the car? And like the rest are wondering, how is turning. My primary plan is for daily driving. Thanks for all the responses so far though. Also, what are your opinions on the mickey's as far as performance? Tried any other street radials that outperform them?

To give you an idea of how good the MT's are, they improved the DR world record by about 3 tenths of a second, from 7.96 to 7.66, with the exact same tire size vs. BFG's. I'd like to see pics of these supposed 275's, but I doubt he has them. Geoff said he had to butcher the front of his car to get 255's to fit, so I can only imagine what an MT would be like that is already wider per given width rating.

you don't daily drive drag radials. unless you have more money than i do. if you want a street radial then you should look into some yoko es100 or something similair.

Have you tried the es100's? If so, how do you like them? How's straightline traction?

its a street tire, so unless you are only making like 140whp, they arent going to hook on a straight line

A buddy of mine has the 275's on a turbo mustang, and he's got about 8500 miles out of a set. That's about how much I put on my car in a year, so I don't think it'd be too bad for all that extra traction you get.

Ah, a TON of people DD drag radials.

Hell. I drive with mine all the time. At once I switched from the street tires to the DRs. and back and forward. It just got boring to switch them all the time, so I just drive on it now.

It's not really that much more than "regular" tires but they don't last as long. But all that extra grip is worth it.

so how many miles do you get out of them? I am always swapping them out at the track.
