I have heard before any lift over 12mm needs GSR LMA's. Use stock valve lash.

I would recommend to change out your LMA's.

The 1st gen have smaller contact patch on the LMA's.

ummmmm......... won't you have to spin the 16 to 10K++ w/itbs and atleast 12.5/1 c.r with those cams? i can't wait to see this dyno. LOL. lma's should be the last of your worries. you will have to be extremely accurate with this set up.

If your going to change them just get the ITR LMA's they were designed to handle the bigger cams.

WTF?? Criss?? if you would learn to read I specified a B16 head no where's does it say B16 long block or B16 short block... FYI head is the upper portion of your motor with the valve train, cams, valves etc...

If there not designed for a B16 head what are they designed for a ITR head oh wait same head with a few exceptions....

I think idiots posting is part of the reason I've cut back off these forum....

Yah, you just have to read past the idiots.

I got my GSR LMA's off ebay for something like 45.00. Good insurance.

the thread title is bc iv's in b16. not b16 head. as for the guys calling me a fool, eat a dick. if you think bc iv's are not huge for a b16, then you are the fool. it is a fact that you'll have to rev up to 10K with those cams. as for the b16 making close to 200whp, it peaked at 9200rpm, was soggy in the mid range, and it was done on d/a cams if i remember correctly. anyway, opinions are like ********. its funny, somebody mentioned that its going into a 2L, i corrected myself and u guys still talk ****? LOL, get over it, children.

Wow, I don't think I'd ever have the nerve to actually criticize a 200 whp b16, that's some pretty impressive **** no matter how you get it done. Geez...

believe me, its no dis. i respect any 200whp b16, its just that displacement owns. if you can make big numbers with the 16, by all means go for it. but, we all know size matters. i'm sure Omni will admit that. lastly, i believe a Hytech header was run on that 200whp combo. that header is like $1200 alone. 1.8L's and up make 200whp on generic, off shelf headers. my point is, to achieve high specific output on a 1.6L is money, and most of the people on here, or in the real world for that matter are trying to get there best bang for the buck and staying 1.6L is strictly love not logic.
