Im looking to buy an 87 crx. Problem is the car wont start, he said he replaced the whole distributor, coil, and it still wont start. Anyone have any idea what it might be?

Yeah, but usuaully when customers tell me what they think is wrong or what they replaced I will take it as a grain of salt.

Anyways is the timing on mark ?

everything is good. The car is in good condition and only has 120k on it. He said he was driving down the road, it cut off and he couldnt get it started again. B4 the car was fine. He posted the problem on redpepperracing and they thought it was the igniter. But he replaced the whole distributor with new igniter and coil. Still wont work.

Hopefully the timing belt did not snap. Did he look in that area at all. You only need fuel, spark and compression to start and engine. He has fuel and spark, but does he have compression ?
