im looking to go high compression ls and in i have a set of b16 pistons but the area where the piston pins go were damage i wanted to know if any has ever had ctr pistons on ls rods

 

you have to shave the small rod ends or the pistons to make the combo fit

 

yup and you take 1mm of each side.. works like a charm

 

a machine shop has to do that correct and if i use arp rod bolt do i have to resize my rods?????

 

yeah I would suggest a machine shop strongly. You dont need to have your rods resized for the ARP rod bolts. You need the 8mm ones, to be on the safe side you may want to have those installed prior to getting the small end milled and have them check the big end for out of round. This would save you time in the long run
