Default Shaving emblems?

Well, my Acura "A" emblem has been stolen twice in the last two weeks off my Integra GSR. I replaced it after it got stolen teh first time (with an OEM one, $30 bux) and after I replaced the emblem it got stolen again 2 days later Farking loser *** thieves Anyways, I have been thinking of just keeping the rear of the car shaved of emblems. I already took off my vtec badge and that was easy. How do I go about taking off the "Acura" name emblem, is that the same as the vtec badge or does it have holes that it goes into like the "A" emblem? I assume in order to cover the holes left from my "A" emblem I'll need to take the car to a body shop and have it covered and painted, correct? Thanks for any info, I could not find anything in a search....

Justin

justin: there are holes behind the "ACURA" emblem...be careful when taking it off. you can use dental floss or fishing wire to take it off. just make sure you take your time. when the emblems are off, take lighter fluid to take off the sticky stuff. as for the holes, you have to take it to a body shop and that might cost a lot...hope this helps...

yes it costs alot...because you have to repaint the whole trunk, fill the holes in and weld them shut.get the wing shaved at the same time as well if you are considering that.
