Default needing Ideas for exhaust

Well now, I have a 96 prelude with a 2.3L in it. I have an AEM V2 CAI coming for that end of the breathing, I would like some suggestion for the exhaust, what I have in mind is a DC sports 4-2-1 header, Catco high flow Cat, 2.5 pipe, Apexi N1 muffler. Would this be a good set up.

a "real" header would be good, but i don't know who makes them for the H23. but i'm sure you could get one of the manufacturers on here to help you out.
a nice high flow cat and a good 2.50" ID exhaust.
so you're right on track, except for that header. and look into a carsound cat too.

Default Stock Vtec header

Could you use a stock vtec header and add a 2.5" collector? I was thinking about that for my H22. I need a new flexpipe, CAT, and exhaust anyways.

a real header is an SMS, DTR, RMF, ANR, and i know there are more, those are just the ones that come to me right now. no disrespect to the others i forgot.
they flow better, give you more hp, and if you're serious, it will be the last header you will ever need to buy.

None of those have produced headers for the H23. As of now no major company has produced a Header that will give good gains.

H23's should be turbo'ed. Just my opinion.

true, none of them have. just wanted to give him an idea of the manufacturers of uber high quality H-headers.
and i agree, H23s should be turobed.

True, true... The only good exhaust manifold for an H23 is a turbo manifold.

Alot of people have had good luck and good gains with the Megan Racing header on their H23s, just another option

I was going to get the 2.3 VTEC in Jan 06 with a bonus, The DC Sports was a hold me till new engine got here, I was thinking of going with a Hytec header or SMSP header if they made one for that engine
