Default New 2 the board

Hey guys! I Just got my base model RSX a couple of weeks ago. I had some questions regaurding the performance aspect of the car. I am planning to run a AEM V2 intake, Comptech header, HKS Hi-power exaust, Hondata Kpro ECU and hopefully TODA cams. Let me know your opinion on the setup. Also i was wondering how much of a difference the Hondata Kpro really makes. I've heard rumors that a type-S model hand a intake, header, exaust along with the ecu and was hitting 13's on a stock clutch with street tires. True?

Yea thats true.
Dont expect to do that with your base though. The K20A2 and K20A3 are completely different beasts.
Bolt ons wont gain you much with the A3, but a GReddy Turbo, or JRSC would be great! Those would be a couple of legal options. There are lots of turbos out there giving far more power than the GReddy Turbo.
Do your research, use the search function, and have fun.
Good luck with your car.

I know the gains wont be as significant, but i wanted to show that the base model is just as much of a competetor as the type-S. 40 HP is a lot to make up for, but i think it can be done....ALL MOTOR! Sux that only the intake side has i-VTEC though, would be nice to have it on both ends. The other option i have is to get the Type-R motor. Worth the price? i got the money to blow, but i was wondering if it was indeed worth it. If so, is it basicly like a standard B-series swap? So many choices, so little mind.
