I know (at least on a d16) that the oil pressure sender uses a 1/8" BSPT, but what about the fittings for the coolant temp sensor, gauge sensor, and thermoswitch? I am pretty confident they are metric threads but does anyone know for sure? By the way its for a d16a6 motor. thank you.

 

The temp gauge sender (1 wire) is 1/8th BSP as well. The two wire coolant temp sensor is metric. I believe its 10x1.5 or 10x1.25mm.

You could buy a couple 8mm and 10mm bolts cheaply and try them out. I know its metric but I cannot remember the size.

That was really my question, I pretty much have the other bigger ones figured out(metric--just can't remember the size off the top of my head) it was the small 1 wire temp sender I was wondering about. Since I didn't have the original fitting to see if it was tapered (1/8" BSPT) I assumed it was metric (10 x 1.0)--and I put the metric fitting in--oh well, I will try a BSPT fitting. So you are sure it BSPT? I am not doubting you, I just want to be totally sure. Thanks for your help-----Jay.
