Board doesn't touch any part of the car; there are foam thingamaroos under every point. To take it a step further; I stick the board under the beach shower so there isn't any salt water that gets on the car. (Coming from Boston makes you fear salt in relation to cars)

Time to buy a real roof rack. Friction and vibration stil going to make scratches.

Ha I just had a beach soon recently. I go to New Symerna Beach, ya know the shark bite capital of the world I'll have to get those pics posted. I put my board IN the car though.

I live maybe a mile from the beach; not going too far. I'd do it with a black itr too; they are just integras in the end.

I sold my 4runner yesterday; options were kinda limited.

Because it would cause pressure cracks. I ride a 6'8" fun shape and it fits fine with the back seats down inside the car.

mainly because im lazy. you must mean f-ing san diego people.

i don't put it in the car because its easier to toss it on the roof/wing; it doesn't hang out because the hatch would kill it.

true R owners "flip out" about there R's....but with this statment i would venture to say you have never owned one......only because i felt the same way until i got one.

thule makes killer racks for integras....and well just about all honda's I guess but they are more for distance travel v/s local surf spot (the water is 2 miles from my home but I still have a jeep just to go there.)

I caught three of em on the Redondo Special, just off the coast of Marina Del Rey. $30 half-day boat baby.

Couple guys onboard caught some 'cuda too.

It's just that Ashish and I have been talking about ways to make 'R' owners "flip out" I thought it would be worse than this so far. haha
