Default Rear wheel bearing owning me

So the left rear wheel bearing on my '92 teg has been howling like a banshee for some time now, and i finally broke down and bought a new hub assembly. I disassembled my rear brake assembly and removed the offending bearing, only to find that part of it is firmly stuck on the spindle. I've been whacking at it for hours, trying to pry/knock it off the spindle, but with no luck. So now I turn to you, honda-techies; HELP!!! I've circled the bastard *** piece with my badass paint skillz, and the arrows point to where i've been hitting it.

I would try heating it with a torch (clean ALL the grease off using brake cleaner) and if that doesn't work try using a chisel. Only things I can think of right now, hth.

I used a special tool and a press to get it off easily, but you could try grinding 3 notches in it and pulling it off with a gear puller.

The same thing happened to me. I did something similar to what Xsi said using an angle grinder, and it came off pretty easy.

try a gear puller, grind notches in the race with a angle grinder then use a 2 or 3 tooth gear puller and that should work. thats what they use to get the race off the front hub when installing new bearings. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=720159 a visual of what im talking about is alil ways down the thread
