Default oiling hks foam filter

i have an hks filter on both my civics and I was thinking the other day when I was fixing my honda lawnmower and the air filter that it has on it.

In my lawnmower manual it says to oil the foam portion of the filter element in oil.

As a result of me servicing my lawnmower I starting thinking about my car'a air filters and how they're 100% composed of foam.

I use bel-ray foam filter oil on my mowers and was thinking that I could use it on my hks filter.

Anyone oil their hks filters? Bel-ray foam oil is the stuff that they sell in motorcycle shops so it's decent stuff.

Thanks
