Help, I can't get the rear break pads to compress. I opened the lines and diconnected the parking brake line but nothing. what am i dong wrong??? Please help i need to drive this to work tomorrow

this is on a 2000 civic si

I know this is the wrong area but i need help bad and the FI board always has a ton of bright folk . thanks

i cheat and use a flat-blade screwdriver. just press the pad back into the caliper. or you could goto autozone and buy the screw-type pad compressor. i think they even rent one

I ended up getting it. Turns out turning them clock wise brings them right back in

man i hate stuff like this

haha, you have to screw them on but I guess you figured it out. Dont worry I did the same thing when I 1st did my brakes..lol
