Swift Tohatsu springs
Does anyone on this board have them?
Been through the search and not much info on them.
Reason i am considering these springs are because they are lightweight and comes in diff spring rates.
My main question is are they compatible with Koni Yellows?
Asking this because the shops around my area tells me they are only available for coilovers. By this they mean available for Zeal,Quantum,Ohlins......
Also when i browse their site, i dont know which ones to look for. I have a EK. What ID should i be looking at?
How much do they usually cost?

It depends on the collars you use. If you use GC`s then you want 2.5". Personally I would just go with Eibach. We have a better spring and twice the rates available. We do not have the word "Tohatsu" in our name though....
You're forgetting i am frm Malaysia.
From what i see we only get one spec frm Eibach and the shop cant even tell me what spring rates and drop it is.
Unless you can give me the part number Fr 6k/Rear 4k rates.
I dont track the car and 99% street driven.

Thanks so much!
So its possible to order diff specs for front and rear.
Would the dealers be able to order these for me? As far as i know most just come in a set like the pro-kit or sportline.
I went to the Eibach website and could not find a master dealer in Malaysia, could you provide some info on that?

I will look into it tomorrow. I know we have a good distributor in Malaysia. If you have Koni yellows now, your best bet is to order a set of ground controls w/ customes rates. they will come w/ eibach springs.
i beg to differ... i've had my ground controls w/ eibach springs for about 5 years now and had no problems. when i was given a set of swifts to try out, i can honestly say that the swifts are the best springs i've ever ridden on. I don't think Eibach is the best, but it is way ahead of the pack, in my opinion. and btw, swift has every spring rate you can think of... when i purchased my ground controls, i had no options for spring rates...just whatever was packaged in the box. =/

Your loss. You shoulda shopped around then, cause you can pick any spring rate in 25lbs intervals.

yeah thats what ive heard is that swift springs dont have that jarry ride even thought their rates are just as high, and their spring have further travel to, or something

I actually ended up going with a stiffer spring rate with the swifts... i know that swift springs are a lot lighter than the eibachs that come with the ground control and the suspension feels a lot more steady and predictable when cornering.

I would bet $100 that they are not.
Anybody have a couple to test?
edit: the weights are listed on the site. We are lighter and have 2-3 times more lengths, rates and ID's available. No contest....

you can test my springs... show me numbers and prove me wrong and i'll buy your springs instead. but until then, i still believe that swift springs are the cream of the crop.

I don't know which charts you concentrated on, but in ~2.5" ID and 6" free length category the Swift springs are definitely lighter where the spring rates overlap.
No argument on Eibach having a better selection.
