Well done, ECHC!
Thanks to the hospitality of NASA in general (and Grumpy and JJ, in particular), I had a great view of the VIR happenings on Saturday from the tower - including the ECHC demonstration session. You have got a good thing going, folks, and should be congratulated for all of your effort...
The "look" of a group of cars is more important than a lot of people realize and the ECHC pack looked sharp - like "real" touring cars. I know that a lot of the cars in the demo were street cars but it would be kind of nifty if the grid had more graphic impact, even though a vast majority of the cars were incredibly nicely turned out. The only actual fault that I might be able to find is in the few cars with body damage evident on the track - in light of the 13/13 Rule and stated no-tolerence policy where contact is concerned, I think it is important that the cars be dent-free.
I'm hoping that my schedule will let me attend an actual ECHC race and wish you all the very best in the coming season...

i dont see Chad or Warren fixing their cars in time for the series, and I dont see any of us starting a "Fix Chad And Warren's Cars Memorial Fund"
. good showing though, cant wait for the races

and alot of cars that will be competing in the ECHC events also run SCCA, EMRA, BMW, and other racing events. a few dent/dings/etc will be expected (right Matt?)
can't expect all the cars to look perfect....
but I agree; the ECHC cars looked nice as a whole.

Oddly enough, both of the cars that come to mind were banged up in non-competitive situations. Warren's was a street mishap. And Chad's got dented at a HPDE-type event (if it's the car I'm thinking of).
