Default cant start engine after auto - manual coversion

this weekend i did a motor swap (on my 93 civic dx) from a auto d-series to a manual (jdm)b16a. everything is bolt in from, clutch pedal, line, resevoir, shift linkage, ecu (manual), everything. the only thing is i cant start the car. i have power because i can hear the fuel pump kick on and when i put the key in the ignition the chime goes off, but the motor wont turn, i'm not even getting a click from the starter.

i did a search and found that i have to trick the car into being in park. but nothing species how to do it or what wires i might have to wire up.

please if theres anybody who knows what i'm talkin about please HELP!
also if anyone has photos plesae share them so i may understand better.

once again thanks.

You have to jump two wires in a plug that connected to your auto shifter... gimme a few minutes to go outside and look at mine...

Now I gotta take that plastic off... damn....

An easy way to tricking it into park is to take the little box off the auto shifter that connects to your wires and move the little black *** into park. Did you connect the ground wire from the starter to the part of the frame its supposed to, also did you get the engine bay painted because I have heard that the paint will give a crappy connection.

On the big plug you need to jump the two middle wires that have the biggest opening and are closer together...

ooo o o oo
ooo OO oo <---- thats the plug

You wire the two bigger OO in the middle... You know what i mean jelly bean?

i had this problem and never figured out what it was till the night a car show in indy ended which i already bought passes too, pissed might i say but all i did was move it to park, unsolder one of the wires connected to the park position and solder it to the other wire so its constantly in park and never have the problem again
