Ive had my CRX for about 4 weeks, and as i was driving today the car started shuttering in first and second gear. When i slipped the clutch out in first and second, the car wouldnt accelerate. What could be causing this.

The car is at a Honda Specialest shop getting checked out as we speak.

I would appriciate any advice or help.

Well then,

The car first off has a clutch that is almost gone! From the begining it has been slipping in 1 and 2. But now when i try to accelerate after rolling out of first, the car doesnt move unless i literally floor it one or two times. Then it starts moving, but like a car that is choking on gas. Once the car is in 3 gear, the shutter goes away and the car drives smoothly. Im hoping besides a clutch replacement that nothing major will need replaceing. Ive been advised that it could be the fuel system, spark plugs and possibly throttle cable.

Anyone have any input???
