Getting behind the firewall
Anyone know how to remove the piece that covers up the gap behind the firewall. I want to run some wires for my amp, foglights, and headunit behind there so the engine has a cleaner look, but can't seem to figure out how to take it off without breaking it.
Do you mean the windshield cowl under the wipers??? if you want to run wires, you should just run them through the firewall where honda has already run wires. On the DAs you can run it through on either side w/o much trouble and w/o having to take anything off. I ran my wires this way and you can't even see them, that's also how most stereo places do it.
ok so run it behind the dash? Is there a rubber gormet on the passanger side like the driver side where i can run these wires?

94-01 Integras have a large grommet down below the fuel filter, slightly lower than the battery tray. Just cut a slit and push the wires through, and the rubber will stay together tight enough around the wires to not let any water or anything inside the car.
any idea exactly where that pops out on the other side. I was looking up under the dash but didn't see where it might be on the inside. I guess i will try to stick some hard wire through tie it to the 3 wires i want to put through and do it that way. Thinking i should run my alarm wire up through there also to make shorter and harder to to for thieves.
Right behind the AC evaporator box. If you push the wires through, they'll push their way down....and even if they don't, you will be able to reach up high enough to get them with your fingers.

well thing is im pushing them from inside the car into the engine bay to wire up to the battery. So im actually pushing in the opposite direction...but i will try a hard wire to tie the other wires to so i can pull them through.
