pretty sure p13 or p28 would work, I believe the p28 cuts out the oxygen sensor(??) I don't know, but the p13 is the one I went with.

EDIT: Oh sorry I misread your post, I'm not exactly sure which p13 you need. You should be able to search and find which was in the 93-96 prelude (h22a)

You should know that I come from Germany and it is very hard to find in Germany a BB1 P13 ECU with AT Trannsmission. I am the one in Germany who have a BB H22A Prelude with AT Transmission. In Germany are a lot of BB1 with M/T Transmission, but no one with Automatic Transmission. I swapped a BB6 (OBD2) H22A5 Vtec Engine with 185hp into my US Prelude BB2 AT Transmission (with 160hp, Non-Vtec). I bought a OBD1 BB4 P13 ECU, which is for the 200hp engine to make that Vtec works, and now it works, but now the car goes not faster than 100mph. With my old P14 BB2 Non-Vtec ECU the Vtec doesn`t works, but the car is faster as with the P13 BB4 ECU (with VTEC). I think the problem is that the BB4 200hp H22A ECU is not the same like the BB1 185/190hp ECU. Could be that the BB4 ECU has longer injection timing as the BB1 ECU, because of the different horsepower.

you need to look for a JDM p13 automatic ecu, I believe it would be called a xxxxxxx - p13 - x5x

taht 5 is the key, for example, ilke A51, or N51. as long as its a 5, it means its an automatic

your answer was already given to you in this post:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Eddiebx &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">you need to look for a JDM p13 automatic ecu, I believe it would be called a xxxxxxx - p13 - x5x

the p28 will run the engine but everytime i see a p28 with an auto engine you get a constant transmission control modeul light, and have to manually shift.

the ecu that eddiebx described above sends the proper signals to teh TCM and will allow the car and tranny to work right.
