One of my friends did that too. He has an S-10 lowered on 20s. Everything is shaved. And it's got a freakin nice paint job. His actual truck is really starting to resemble that model. Can't wait to see it finished.

Thanks, it's actually a Hasegawa kit with the inards of a Revell ITR for the motor, the dash is out of a Fujimi ITR kit, the seat?? can't remember. All lot of the parts were scratch built like the roll cage, chin spoiler, spoon wing, intake manifold, strut bar, header, radiator and radiator support amd some other stuff I can't remember, the progress is here http://In-progress projects There are few pages, the pics a spread out due to "random acts of progress" on the build.

Just a little personal taste, I love to be able to chill on the highway when on long drives and that just carries over to my models and building them to my taste. Besides, how much performance would really be gained by ditching it???

Ahh come on, are you joking???? I wish you could buy this stuff aftermarket, it would have saved me SOOOO much time in stead of building it from spare plastic. i.e. scratch building

Unless there is a local hobby shop around then Ebay is your best source.
