slanted muffler on ej8

hey guys,.thinking about getting it done this weekend...
my muffler has been scraping driveways etc and taking a beating and i was wondering if slanting the muffler would have worse ground clearance. if you guys have a slanted muffler on an ej8 post some pics so i know how to weld it on..any troubles with it so far?

why didnt you just buy a system that has a slant mount in the first place?

this is a pic of a car on the first page of the before mentioned topic for ej8's. the slanted muffler hangs pretty low. i guess it might depend on the size and shape of your muffler.
