Does anyone have suggestions of anything I should take care of, check, install, remove, while the interior is out of my 95 civic dx hatchback?

The reason the interior is out is because I'm swapping a black one in.

 

If you plan on running 11.9 or faster now would be a great time to install a cage.

 

Is a cage still street legal? This car was supposed to be my weekend race car, but I still want to get it to these events without a trailer.

 

It all really depends on your location. Ive seen people around here drive with a cage all the time and im in cali.

 

I'd take out sound deadening if I wanted. If I was really **** i'd check for rust and maybe repaint or strip the old paint and put new coats on. I'd also upgrade my fuel pump if I was planning on boosting.

 

All the sound deadening tar should be out by this weekend.
