Default Where can I get a Jdm Thermostat?/ the right one to fit.

Please someone help. I have a Jdm motor which I am not sure of what year and is an Automatic motor but I convert to fit my h23 tranny. Recently, I went to Advance Auto Parts and got me a thermostat for the motor but the size of the thermostat that I got from Advance Auto Parts is smaller than the Jdm thermostat. Seems like the Jdm thermostat are a lot bigger than the U.S. Spec thermostat. Anyone know what I should do to obtain the correct thermostat? Thanks for all your help.

I also bought mine from a hona dealership, it was peferct.

Info:
ALL H22 are built in Japan (USD and JDM).
The large majority of parts are identical between US and Japan for that motor.

Sounds like you had the guy search through some boxes until you found one that looked like it?
Just go to honda.
