Default a good place for JDM front install/paint in the bay area?

anyone recommend a place in the bay area(prefer near san jose) that will do both installation and paint on the jdm front end?

im thinking either going to Crystal autos at newarks
or
H&H at oakland

any comment on those 2 places? any other recommended shops?

thanks

If your USDM radiator support hasn't been damaged, then just save the money and do the conversion yourself. You can just use the JDM T-bar instead of the whole support, meaning no need to weld. I plan on doing this to my car once I have the money for the JDM T-bar.

As for paint, are there any good shops that would do the paint for a real good price in the Union City to San Jose area? Sorry for jacking your thread trunks.

i heard its better of changing the whole radiator support than just replacing the T-bar becauseit will look cleaner and no headlight rattle.

hmmm... better maybe, but n terms if looking cleaner, i think thats all on the body shop and how well they actually do the conversion. I don't have any headlight rattle either. I have the front myself and never had any problems.

Well, i dont have a place to recommend but i can tell you that Dreams Auto Body in Alameda is a bad place...so dont go there. They charged me 800 for a fender bender and they did a freaking terrible *** job. My fender and bumper still dont line up now beecause they didn' really fix it...

I had one car done there before I sold it. I am saving up to have my other car done there. Talk to Raymond, nice guy to deal with.
