Default Headlights

I am new to this forum, so noob here. I just bought a 2002 Accord 4dr EX, one of the first things I want to do is upgrade the headlights. I am not sure what fits my car. I want to blue like look, sorta what new the new TL's look like. All I can find is some cheapy's.

I dont mind spending 100 bucks on a nice set of Xenon's or whatnot.

Thanks for the help

Then you'll never get HIDs. You could get a kit (I have a 5300k McCulloch plug and play kit for sale if you want it), and it would be fine, but it wouldnt be the new 'TL' look.

The color doesnt come from the headlights; The projector housings that HIDs come in give off the different colors. Most OEM lights come in around 4300k; The projectors give them the different colors.

On hidplanet.com, there are several people who have done retrofits into their 6th gen Accords taht look really nice. It will cost you about 200 bucks for projectors, 300 bucks for ballasts and bulbs, and if you don't do the retrofit yourself, roughly 200 for someone to do it for you.

And for chrissake DON'T buy blue tinted bulbs; they look horrible, you lose lighting output, and they are generally illegal.

I more than appreciate your help, but thats a bit more than I would want to pay. Are there any other options to get me closer to what I want. I agree I am not going to buy those colored bulbs, they are junk.

I just like the hid look. So I guess I am stuck with just the brighter "White" bulbs, like the Piaa Star Whites, than anything else.

Thanks...

Yea the Cheapest HID 'kit' ive seen is 250+shipping (at least one that won't break), or my used one is cheap.

Under that, i'd try SilverStars or PIAA

HID's are the only to do it the right way. Just save your money and get them. Trust me you will get sick of replacing the cheap bulbs.

But if you are going to get the cheap stuff make sure that they are 55W or under, otherwise they will burn out much faster b/c the stock system cant handle the extra wattage of the aftermarket bulbs.
