Back in November I was hit by a Cadillac, Totalling my Integra. About 3 weeks ago I finally got my hatchcrap on the road. On Friday I was heading to the bank, when I stopped for a SUV that was turning left in front of me. I hear the sound of skidding tires, look in my rear-view, and see a car flying up on me. I knew he was going to hit me hard, so I pushed the brake in w/both feet and held on like never before. He hit me, punting my car into the car in front of me. The stupid **** didnt even have a drivers license, but the car was insured. He and his passenger didnt get out of the car until the police came because I would have killed him if he did.
Anyway, now I'm all fucked up again, my back and neck are killing me

that looks painful. good luck on the recovery. it looks like you salvaged what you could on the itr and dropped them in that hatch. i dont know if you're superstitious, but i would part out and sell everything on that car or let insurance just take it away with all the parts.

I wonder if keeping the brake pressed in was the best idea? It's the natural reaction, but I think if you let the brake off, the car would've passed more energy on as forward motion (versus the body absorbing it).

The downside to this is being flung into the car in front of you.
