I have a 00 GSR motor in a 00 DX hatch. Strangely, the hatch does not have a hole in the front left corner of the engine bay like my 00 Ex did.

I am looking to get a stock GSR intake, but am concerned with fitment issues. IIRC the stock Ex intake used the hole into the fender/bumper area for the stock intake piping.

So, could someone please let me know if I will be able to use a stock GSR intake in a civic that does not have the engine bay hole?

 

the gsr intake doesnt go through any holes, it goes down in front of the tranny and under the frame rail as far as i know.

 

So it should work in the hatch?
