Who to contact if you have experience problems with "service bulletin" at your local Honda dealershi
Apparently, there was a thread about service bullentins, extended warranty, etc, etc on here. Some of the bulletins can lead you to a complete tune-up that may included an oil change or replacing a tranny problem after the factory issue warranty has expires.
Since then, many of you know, I've been working for Honda/Acura dealership for almost the past 6 years now. I've recieved a few IM about their cars were not part of the service bulletin due to the car inquiring aftermarket parts. Which is false (to an extend).
If you have just a oil cap or a carb certified intake (i.e. competch, AEM, etc), and the dealership refuse to do any work, here are some info that may help you guys.
If you are not satisfied with the service you recieve from your local Honda dealer, you may write to:
American Honda Motor Co., INC
Honda Consumer Affairs Dept.
Mail Stop 500-2N-7D
1919 Torrance Blvd.
Torrance, CA 90501-2746
or
If you believe that American Honda or the dealer has failed or is unable to remedy the defect in your car, without charge, within a reasonable period of time (60 days from the date you first contact the dealer for a repair appointment), you may submit a complaint to:
Administrator
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
400 Seventh St. S.W.
Washington, D.C. 20590
or call the toll-free Auto Safety Hotline at (800)-424-9393.
Also, Honda Conumer Affairs Department (800)-999-1009

In honesty, in the many years of what I've seen, you be surprised that many tend to lose money when they become "closed minded" when they see a Honda with aftermarket accessories.
Most of them, will blow you off, in fear in believe they feel they are opening a "can of worms". The reality just sicken many people that see that everyday. Unfortunately, its very true.
Your dealership can provide you a complete VIN history or any past recalls, bulletings, etc that was done at any dealership. It will also show you if it has done or not.
Hope this helps for of some of you guys.
