A while ago I asked on this forum whether if I should replace main seal while I do the clutch/flywheel replacement. I got a few responses saying to leave f--- it alone if it is not leaking and a few other responses saying not to take out tranny twice, take a few extra minutes and replace the main seal. After asking around honda people and honda parts dept staff, they said to definitely change the main seal while doing clutch replacement. It is their practice, like almost a must for them. It is just for your information, when and if you replace clutch/flywheel. I did not do this with my 1988 Accord with 230k miles (now I wonder about it). I am going to do this with my 92 accord with 190k.
