Where can I get an H1 harness?
I got my JDM headlights, but what is the high beam? It's an H1 bulb right? My friend tried to tell me it's an H1C. Anyway I found a h4 harness but where can I get an H1 harness?
hey i had ur same problem i found them at an auto parts store it was a big one because the prong was bigger on the bulb i had but its like female spades
Why do you have 2 prongs? Does the H1 bulb require 2 wires? Also is this plug and play with my car? I'll probaly have to do some splicing I assume right?

Your the man brother, if you could hook me up with a pic that would be sweet. Also how hard was it to splice and stuff. I've never done stuff like that before. Do i have to disconnect my batter while doing it?
yea i disconnected my negative umm the wiring i had my cousin do it im to shakey it took time but it was pretty easy i guess get the wires in the hole and crimp and for the h4 i guess they got a harness it had 3 wires from it red, red, and a black and they connected it to the usdm one here is a pic

there is one red wire that is not connected to another

i really dont know if you have a junkyard it would be cheaper to get it there

Solder all your connections and shrink wrap them THEN wrap with a little electrical tape or wire loom. Those little twisty cap things are bogus for solid trouble free electrical connecitons. You especially dont want a live wirecomming lose and grounding to the frame of your car. Fried harness and blow fuses is no fun.
So just to make sure the high beam on JDM headlights is an H1 bulb right? Cuz once again my friend tried to tell me it's an H1C which I don't even know if it exists. I'm going to go ahead and order the bulbs then.
The H4 harnesses will also fit the H1 bulbs. The vertical prongs on the H4 and H1 have almost the exact same spacing . . . the H1 just lacks the 3rd horizontal prong on the top. You can use those heavy-duty harnesses on ebay, but unless you are running bulbs that are higher wattage than stock they are kinda unnecessary. I picked up my"normal-duty" H4 harnesses at Wal-Mart for ~$3 each.

Yes, an H4 harness should fit an H1 bulb holder. Like I said, the spacing of the prongs is nearly identical . . . you just won't use the top-most prong when using an H4 harness on an H1 bulb (just the side ones).

Yeah those little white bulb sockets that hold the H1's run about $19 EACH from honda . . . what a rip off.
