Oil found on plug wires?????

Default Oil found on plug wires?????

Well i woke up this morning as well and started my car sounded like it was missing so i checked the plug wires.. each one had oil on the tip and there was oil covering the spark plugs as well.... if i tried to let it idle it would just die.. Not sure what happened had an oil change on sat, everything was fine last night and all of sudden this happend to me this morning if anyone could help id appreciate..it.

sounds like you should check your valve cover gasket... sounds like the ring gaskets have gone bad and oil is leaking into the park plugs

the ring gaskets not sure what those are but i can go to acura and get a new valve cover gasket cant i.. what about the oil that is in there now do i take the plugs out and let it drain and then swap the gasket.

yeah just get the whole new gasket kit or you can go to Autozone or Pepboys and get the same thing for a cheaper price.... the rings I am talking about are the ones that go around where your plug wires go in

Yeah the most common reason for that is those rings. We bought a 90 civic hatch one time and the spark plugs were covered in oil from where those rings were bad. It wouldn't start at all lol.

ok so ima go to autozone if they have it i doubt it though if not ima go to montano acura and see if they have it.. sucks that it happened all of a sudden probably cuz my car runs kinda hot.
