Ummm, we need a little more info than that. I dont know maybe you should let us know what bottom end you're referring to.

Its for a 2000 SI with stock pistons and rods , id like to keep it a Daily Driver

Do a little bit of researching on here and you will find out a whole hell of a lot of information...Search Skunk2 Cams, Buddy Club Cams, Jun Cams, Toda Cams...list can go on. I can tell you this...With Skunk2 Stage 1's and Toda Spec A's, it is not a must to upgrade valve springs and retainers as long as you arent revving past stock redline...Also, Toda Spec A's have the most lift and duration of just about any "entry-level" cam out there although pricy! Search around and you will find answers...Figure out what your power goals are and go from there...
