sometimes when im driving and i have my lights on and i signal, once i push the signal all the lights flash off than go back on, but it will only do it with the first flash than the lights stay on

Where should i start to look for this,

check if all your bulbs are ok.

THe DASH LIGHTS flick off than go back on when i signal, almost like a power surge or something

 

What may be happening is all your lights (not just the dash lights) may be shutting off as you're pressing the signal lever. Sounds like a short or loose connection in your multifunction switch (signal lever switch) inside the steering column or the headlight switch on the actual lever itself.

 

well its only the dash lights that flash None of the Exterior ones do, but im goin to check what u said, i had a gsr dash before but i put it back to stock, maybe something is touching somewhere ill start there, any other opinions will be apreciated

You might wana see the ground wire? it happend to me aswell. But it only happend when i would press the brakes. The turn signal would not work at all...

so check out the ground !!!
