Del Sol roof leak
i just recently bought a del sol and when it rained the other night, there was some leakage around the seals. I've searched everywhere and i couldnt find anything to help me. I remember a while ago on these forums, there was a topic about the del sol seals and everything but not i cant seem to find them. Can anyone help me with the roof leak in my sol plz?
thanks

make sure its in all the way, take it out and open both doors. then put on the top with the doors still open and it should kinda fall into place.(make sure the locks are clamped down all the way) and should be all flush with the rest of the roof. if you tried that and it still doesnt work then you might need to replace the seals around the roof. i hope that helps some

no no no...dont go and buy some new seals quite yet. Check out http://www.teamdelsol.com out first. That is the official del sol club website. they have a few tech articles there about roof leaks. otherwise join http://www.hondavision.com which is like the del sol home forum.

Yeow, don't go there. My local dealership wants a couple hundred over list for them. http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com or another internet dealership will save you tons. Still won't be cheap.
I would loosen up the side rails and adjust them so they look good when locked down, then tighten all the bolts again. Depends on where it's leaking though, if it's not leaking from those spots I would try treating all your seals with silicone grease. If you don't treat the seals, they will leak.
