Default valve clearence on b16a Q's?

i have a jdm b16a and im in the middle of a valve adjustment. now it says you want the specs on the intake to .15-.19mm and then on the exhaust .17-.21mm so my question is can i make this gap larger or smaller for a little better power? on cylinder one they are to spec but now im at cylinder 2 and it looks like they could use a small adjustment.

thanks

If you tighen the lash you get a bit more duration and lossening gives alittle less.

so more duration will leave the valves open longer creating a little better throttle response?

someone was telling to to make a larger valve clearence on the intake side and leave the exhaust side stock this way you will get better throttle response?

i have no clue about performance wise but i do know that if the valve is too tight you can burn the valve by not allowing it to seal all the way..so just be careful not to have them too tight
