Maybe its hungry? Try offering it some cheese or apple slices.
But seriously, its probably rubbing somewhere, there is foam/felt on the backside where it touches the firewall, which is pretty easy to come off if you've ever removed the dash. Try to locate the area the squeak and put some felt between the areas that are rubbing.
