Default quick question about brakes on 99 lx accord

alright, so this girl wants me to change her brakes on her 99 lx accord. I just want to make sure i know what im getting into before im in over my head. First things first, im use to changing integra/civic brakes so how are these accord brakes different? I have done a 95 accord and that was somewhat annoying compared to my integra which is cake.

So i guess i want to know how different the brakes are then my 94 integra.... and also im assuming its all wheel disc??? but again.. not 100% sure.

thanks for the help guys, just tryin to make a buck

Its easy don't sweat it. If you've done any brakes before you won't have a problem with these. If she has drums on the rear you should need to do anything to them unless you want to clean, lube and adjust them.

So nothing tricky, rotors come directly off like an integras or a civics?

I would just replace the pads, unless the rotors have a pulsation or something, they are perfectly ok to reuse. In fact, if they look and feel good, and you replace them anyway, you might actually cause a brake pulsation. Honda recommends NOT machining rotors unless it is to remedy a pulsation. Honda also states that new rotors must be machines AFTER installation to ensure a true and parallel braking surface.

Since it's an Accord LX it should have rear drums (unless they've been swapped).
