Default ╙Interior Neon light problems╜

Hello, i have two 9in neon lights (made by optix) and i want both to be toggled by a single switch. I bought a switch and wire krimps (to make sure the wires stay attached to the plugs on the back of the switch. I hooked up the power to a fuse which leads to the transformer (provided by the optix neon light) and then the power is running to the switch. I know the power is getting to the switch since the light comes on and the ground is fine, but the problem is that the neon lights dont turn on when the switch is on. Instead they turn on when the switch is in between on and off. Doesn't make sense to me, ive switched the wires around hoping that the the pic on the back of the switch is wrong but nothing worked. Any help?

You could use a multimeter and se if you are getting any current through it.
