You might have seen from the "fire!" thread that I had some paint damage on the hood. My wife offered to help fix it. We picked up a few rattlecans of paint from Pep Boys and went after it.

(FYI: I'll probably get a CF hood and toss this, but this'll do for now.)

My wife likes to use the touch up paint on spots and whatnot, I never thought of letting her loose on the bucket with rattlecans and a good supply of painters tape

 

turned out pretty good

 

Yeah, I was applying loktite and double nutting a few bolts under the hood.

I was actually thinking about the bumper, since it's "disposable" at this point. But nah, this'll do.

I like how the wife made it realistic by putting black at the tips of the flames.
