Default Rough idle and won't Rev!

After changing the engine in a 1995 SI (EX for you guys) the car doesn't idle very and doesn't rev past 2500rpm. The things that surpises me is that I don't have any CEL. I would like to have people's experience with this. Plugs..Bad grounds?

when u rev, does the car sounds like its going to die out.

my friend just had the same problem today. we could rev it high if only we tap on the gas slightly, but when we floor it, it feels like it going to stall

we change out the dizzy cap and clean the dizzy with a rag.

problem solved!!

Well actualy when we floor it just dies but when we just tap the gas the car will rev until 2500rpm some times 3000rpm and the just seem to die out a bog very bad. But I will try your tip.

Checked the MAFS? Maybe it's just unplugged, but might be broken.

Check and see if your getting fuel to all the cylinders, did you do anything with the fuel rail? me and my buddy had a problem when swapping because the injector wires came lose and it was running on 2 cylinders.

Easy way to check and see if the cylinders really work is to unplug spark plug wires one by one to see if one of them isn't getting spark/fuel.

Thanks guys. What confuses me is that I don't have any CEL. I actualy remove something on the fuel rail. I replaced the thing (sorry I don't know what it is) on the side where it connects to the fuel filter. I just un screwed it and and replaced it, do you have do to anything special to it?
