My 1991 accord lx has started having problems with the stereo. When I turn it on, there is only loud static. None of the controls work. The display says Cd, but there is no changer. I disconnected and reconnected the battery ground, but no change. Any suggestions?

 

from an electronics tech point of view I'd suggest reseating the connectors on the back of the head unit.
