4th Gen (90-93) Speakers
I hope they are 6.5" speakers, cause I just recently bought two pair.
How do I get to the speakers in the front doors? I figured out the back pair, you gotta get to them from the trunk.

The back will fit 6.5" no problem. The front doesn't like that size as is. I did put in 6.5" speakers but had to cut some of the black plastic harness in order to get the speaker to fit snuggly into it. Otherwise the panel won't fit. It isn't hard to cut since the plastic is relatively soft.
1st, not all 4th gen accords have 6.5 inch speakers up front. some have 5.25 inch, others have 4 inch, and others have 6.5 inch speakers.
to combat the 4 inch/5.25 inch versus 6.5 inch dilemma, there is a small baffle (can't think of another word) that is present on the 4/5.25 inch enclosure, that when removed lets a 6.5 inch speaker fit there.
which brings me to the 2nd point that not all 6.5 inch speakers are created alike. you have to look at the depth, and determine if it will fit. possibly, you got a speaker that is too deep, and thus will not fit.

On my 92 DX, I ordered 6.5's all around and they all fit into the stock locations with no modifications. Certain 6.5 are shallower and if you order from a place like Crutchfield, they'll usually indicate if they fit with no problems.
Also, on my car, the front grills came off with two screws and did not require removing the door panel. A friend of mine has a 93 LX and his front grills did not come off that way and required removing the door panel.
