So I bought these things because I wanted to have the amber ones and couldn't find any 92-93 solid amber ones here.


WTF?!?! where is the hole for the other light? I am thinking that maybe the Japanese one just uses the sidemarker in its place and those are just reflecters.

My question is: Does the harness plug that connects to the side of the turn signal for the US model fit the JDM sidemarker?

the side pieces on the JDM 4-pc bumperlights are just reflectors.

Take a drill and a small file - I did the same with mines - to make the same shape for bulb holder as in USDM ones

 

I don't really mind the fact that they are just reflecters.

I kinda just want to know if the plugs are direct fit into the JDM sidemarkers. I am probly going to pick up some of those sidemarkers anyway.

Sorry I did not get back to you. I didn't even know you messaged me because my popup blocker doesn't let it tell me about new PMs.

I appricate your offer (which was BTW cheaper then what I paid for them: $20 + $22 for shipping ), but I think I'll just stick with these and get the JDM side markers.

The ones closer to the center of the bumper that have the bigger bulb are a direct fit. BUT the JDM one uses a different kind of bulb and has a different plug.

I'll take a comparison picture of them and post it tomorrow.

i can't picture it jsut being a reflector and the center ones light up.. that'll look kinda odd. can you post pics up when it is all installed

The right is USDM bulb #1156 the JDM on the left is a bulb #7440. My USDM is Amber because my old turnsignals were clear. The guy that sold these to me just gave me the cut harness with them, but you do not need to change it.

They just use different plugs and bulbs
