Default lug nuts keep loosening????

well, This happened about a month ago and i havent been back to the track since. But after I do my burnout in the burn out box, then run the 1/8 my lugz are loosing on me. If i tighten between each run im ok, but i still doint feel 100% safe.

I have ARP studs with kaiser 3pc aluminum 13X8 raceing wheels. I am using a set of lug nuts from carquest that had the longest thread i could find. Im starting to wonder if maybe the taper is possibly a wrong degree?? however the stock steelies dont have any issues with these lugs loosening whatsoever. Could it be my tires outta balance or maybe a tow/camber issue? I dont have any kinda shakeing in the front end.

Any ideas?? I kinda dont want my wheel flying off at 90mph.

are your wheels hub centric. try cutting the end off the lug nut to make sure they are seated all the way

i do not believe that the wheels are hub centric, and the lugz that i use are open ended already.

if your lugnuts work with your stocks, then they use the same taper seat as stocks. do you have pics of your new wheels? possibly they dont even use a taper seat, and need a flat washer seat like bogarts.
