Default Rim size

Everyone says 15" is the best for performance.
Does that only apply to straight line performance? Or in cornering as well?
If cornering is the case, then why do cars in the European SuperTouring have 19" plus sizes? What about stock Ferrari's & Porsches?

Confused!

Default Re: Rim size (O1 Coupe)

Depending on suspension geometry, HP and weight of car, cost, etc etc.....it all depends I suppose. Why do 850HP Formula 1 cars use 13 inch rims with relatively high profile tires while the CART series use 15 inchers? In our case, I believe its been proven that 15 inchers in a car like a civic with civic hp and lightly modded suspension will produce the best all around result in performance across the board.
