Something grounded.. no dashlights or running lights
The 10amp fuse to the dashlights, runninglights has blown.. I replaced it and it imediatley blew. This pisses me off because I have made NO modifications to this ssytem whatsoever. No indiglo lights or altezza's or anything. Just all of a sudden, I'm lightless.
If anyone knows of a possible ground maybe it could help me fix it before I have to take to honda to have them do it for several hundred dollars.. I'm so damn busy right now I just don't have to time to take everything apart tracking down a wire here and a wire there.
If you can help please do so.. Thank you very much in advance.

Do you have a deck hooked up at all? If you don't and the wire harness for the deck is cut then that's your problem right there. One of the power wires in the harness is touching some metal. That's about the only thing I can think off.
I think you have a bad light bulb.
I had the same problem with my 95 Accord. The dealer did not fix it, and just out of desperation, I replaced all the light bulbs and the problem went away.

I'll check my bulbs.. And reply in tonight.. I hope that works.. I'm not looking forward to honda dissecting my car for some extreme amount of money!
Everyone thing works except for what is affected by the fuse for the dashlights, runninglights and signals.. The stereo systems still works as usual (of course I'm going to check it) but if the short is from there wouldn't it affect the stereo??
I would replace the bulbs. Mine were all working right, that's why the dealer did not find the problem. It's cheap and you don't have to pay labor.

okay, my friend had the exact same thing happen to him on his 85 CRX HF. the only differnce was he also had no taillights so his car was illegal to drive at night. it took us 4 hours and removal of the dashboard to figure what the hell was wrong. it turned out that the dimmer **** for the dashboard had fried its circuits. so we disconnected that and everything worked again excpt for the dashboard of course. so take a look at that dimmer **** too.
my rear defroster wiring got caught somehow and had a bare wire that was grounding on the column witch made the same problem u have
I replaced the front running bulbs and it seemed to do the trick, so far. At least the 10amp fuses aren't blowing anymore but I do very much so appreciate the help.
if the problem arrises again, you should just wire a switch to it. that's what my bf did after he got in an accident, none of his lights worked. just tapped into the red/black wire and everythings perfect again.
